A Victorian mahogany bookcase on cupboard, with moulded detachable cornice above a glazed door, the base with drawer above a panelled cupboard door and all raised on a plinth, width across waist 85.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The cornice is in good condition all around. The polish to the crossbanded frieze is a little dry in places. The right-hand side of the top is in good condition. The left-hand side has some scratches caused presumably by transportation. These have disturbed the polished finish. The door is not warped. The lock is present but we do not have the key. The base top shelf is in good condition as is the drawer front. The lock is present. We have no keys. The door is not warped. The left-hand side has some scratches and scuffs to the polish but no cracks. The right-hand side is in good order also. The plinth base has some minor nibbles to the veneers but no significant issues.

A large Regency mahogany secretaire desk, with moulded edge above a long secretaire drawer, with recessed centre cupboard below flanked on either side by drawers all with brass drop handles with lion mask backplates. Width 128 cm, height 120 cm, depth 53 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The desk top is flat with no cracks and minimal surface damage. The colour is good. The moulded edge is in generally good condition all round. The front left-hand corner has an old circular dowel which almost looks original but is probably not. The colour is an exact match. It probably covers a screw or peg attaching the top to the base. The left-hand handle is missing its circular drop. The fall front operates as it should and all brassware is original. The interior surface is plan mahogany with no baize or leather. All pigeonholes and drawers are present and there is only very minor cosmetic issues to the interior. All six pedestal drawers are in good condition with no losses to the cockbeading. All handles are present but are likely to be later replacements as there is evidence of a knob handle behind each lion mask backplate. The cupboard door is not warped. It closes as it should. The lock escutcheon is missing and we have no key. The brass knob handle is later. The interior shelf is original. The sides of the desk are in good condition with only very minor veneer fractures. The plinth base is in good condition all round.
A George III mahogany corner washstand, with splash back and single drawer and raised on splayed legs with low stretcher. Width 64 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The drawer lining is oak. The splash back and small upper shelf are in generally good condition. There are some stress fractures to the bottom left hand edge of the splash back where it joins the top fitted shelf. It does not look as if the back has actually been off as when viewed from the rear there does not appear to be any disturbance. The top shelf and middle shelf are both in good order. The single drawer is very stiff and there is some loss to the ebony cockbead. The lower shelf has a full width stress fracture and a ring mark. The front legs are in generally good order with only minor scuffs around the extremities. The rear leg has been broken just below the bottom of the shelf support. There is an old metal brace at this point.

The drip tray has flaking paint and the tin front of the drip tray has watermarks. Height 98 cm, depth 33 cm, width 85 cm (not 87).
