An early Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase, the outswept and stepped cornice over two astragal glazed doors, opening to reveal three shelves, below a fully fitted fall front secretaire drawer with black leather skiver, and two door cupboard below enclosing a single shelf, 107 by 53 by 224cm high.
EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK NOW GLAZED TWO STAGE STANDING CORNER CUPBOARD having moulded cornice over veneered and banded frieze, two later glazed oval panel doors revealing shaped shelves to the interior on a projecting base with two blind panelled doors revealing fitted shelf to the interior. Circa 1830. 43" x 25" x 83" (109cm x 63cm x 211cm) CONDITION REPORT: Various mouldings, front bracket feet etc. whilst with the piece are loose and require re-fixing. The oval panels may be later glazed. A little dry in places. Some restoration required.
A c.1900 Waring & Gillow walnut bedside table, the three quarter gallery top above single frieze drawer stamped "Waring & Gillow L'pool", cupboard door and shelf and raised on fluted supports, width 30.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: A few scuffs and scrapes but generally good. Deep scratch on right side. Gallery top on left has been broken in two.
