Regency rosewood chiffonier, shelf back, two drawers and two fabric-covered doors under, width 92cm, depth 35cm, height 125cm.Condition report:The back board to the upper section is quite significantly bowed but it doesn't necessarily effect the shelf or brass supports. A small length of veneer missing from the shelf front. Another patch of veneer missing front bottom right corner of the right hand side. Other small lengths of veneer have been repaired/ replaced. The righthand side has a large triangular veneer patch towards the top. Otherwise generally in good condition, some colour fading and patchiness to the colour of the lower section, either side of the cupboards.
A birch desk,modern, designed by David Linley for Linley, the rectangular top over two frieze drawers and an extending oak surface, all with turned finials inlaid with brushed steel, raised on square supports terminating on to tapering feet, the top over a central bank of two drawers, joined to the supports by moulded stretchers, the top surmounted by a gallery shelf, in three sections, the central section with four shorter shelves, flanked on either side by three wider shelves, surmounted by a moulded cornice, the inside of the drawers impressed with manufacturer's marks, 182cm wide54cm deep191cm highCondition ReportSome of the stretchers with minor splits from previous screws. The dowels to the stretchers broken off to both sides. The top with scuffs and marks commensurate with use. With general scratches, knocks, and wear throughout. The desk will disassemble for transport. The gallery shelving comes apart to individual supports and shelves, the top detaches from the supports and the central bank of drawers.
