A mid 18th century style walnut bureau bookcase, with two mirrored doors enclosing a single adjustable shelf over candle slides and fall enclosing fitted interior and well, over two short and two graduated long drawers, width 101cm height 205cmCONDITION: This looks to be a period bureau that has almost certainly been re-veneered 30 - 40 years ago or more with some additional timbers included, chipping and wear to the cornice particularly top left corner, some oxidisation to the mirror glass, no key for the lock to the upper doors, left hinge to the fall is not fixed, interior fair but leather needs replacing, no key to the base drawers or the fall, some wear around the foot.

Beautiful diamond-shaped marquetry work on top and bottom shelf, as well as on all four sides of table top. Opens to a mirrored compartment with three separate storage areas. In good condition overall, but table finish has worn in areas and one cap on table leg is missing. Measurements: 29 x 20 1/2 x 15 in. Please note that all sales are final.
