A PAIR OF GILTWOOD BRACKETS the serpentine shelf on fluted bracket enveloped by leaves, 13cm h, 13.5cm w, 19th c Both in good unrestored country house condition retaining virtually all of the original gilding. One with old worm holes, one leaf incomplete, another leaf broken and restuck, unrestored and attractive with only some gilt/gesso flaking/chipping and much accretion of dust and surface dirt over time
