An Edwardian stripped pine combination wardrobe, enclosed by a mirrored door, a pair of glazed doors and drawers below153w x 52d x 216h cmCondition report: Overall complete and usable. Drawers run ok and doors open, glass is intact. One of the pieces of the end of the applied decoration is missing. No key, but locks are in place. Handles match an are complete. Fitted with a shelf and a hanging rail to the side and a rail to the centre. Comes into sections so it can be moved easily. Shelf missing from central section.
A nice collection of 11 Arthur Ransome books including Swallows & Amazons 1937, Swallowdale 1938 and 4 first editions - The Big Six 1940, The Picts and the Martyrs 1943, Secret Ruler 1939, Missed Lee 1941. ****Condition report**** All copies have yellowing/foxing to page edges, visible when books are closed.Some dedicated inside 'from gran'.Green covers are dirty with age, a couple have small tears at top of spine caused by trying to remove from a tight book shelf.

Aesthetic Movement ebonised collectors cabinet attributed to Collinson & Lock, the centre raised back with velvet and tassel lined open asymmetrical shelves flanked by bevelled glazed doors over short drawers, with an open shelf and a pair of panelled cupboard doors applied with stylised brass hinges and upon short bracket style feet, the brass lock plates signed 'Cope & Collinson', 47" wide, 18" deep, 66" high - ** An almost identical cabinet is believed to be in the British Museum and formerly the property of Princess Beatrice, 9th and youngest daughter of Queen Victoria and patron of E.W Godwin
