AMBROSE HEAL: A light oak dresser with a raised back with a single shelf and seven cup hooks, the lower section with two short and a single long drawer above two panelled doors, with turned knob handles, on bracket feet, 48” wide.. This dresser appears to be a rare combination of dresser base no. 510 with the upper section more normally seen on the dresser no. 505. This would suggest it dates from 1905/1906 period when only a very small number of dressers of this type will have been manufactured, and it is possible that this combination was arrived at as the result of a client’s specific request.
