A Regency mahogany secretaire bookcase, the architectural cornice above a pair of bar glaze doors, with a secretaire drawer and a pair of panel doors below, 120 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB Overall a good colour, slight warping to the glaze doors, with a couple of small sections missing to the bar-glazing, the serpentine shape moulding to the top left hand section of the secretaire drawer is detached, and incomplete, the interior has later felt lining, slight warping to the panel doors below, which enclose a shelf, and the back right hand leg is detached as the board it is on is riddled with worm and has broken off. There is a small area of loss to the back left hand section, where the bookcase is attached to the cupboard, and a split to the secretaire base on the right hand side. The Condition Report probably makes it sound and look a lot worse than what it is, 62 cm deep x 120 cm wide x 230 cm high. In two sections.
A 19th century oak dresser base, having three frieze drawers above three panel doors, on stile legs, 164 cm wide Condition report Report by RB The top is slightly bowed and split, with a section put in right the way across the back which is approx. 4 cm deep, some worm and splitting to side panels, the back is actually quite nice old and dry, with splits through faults in the wood, lacks central lock, couple of splits to panel doors, later handles, opening to reveal a later shelf. Overall much better than what it sounds and could just do with a good polish. 51 cm deep.
