The first combined edition of two important travel accounts to the Holy land by the German Dominican friar Monte Sion and the jurist and protonotary of the Papal Curia Saligniaco. Monte Sion was one of the last pilgrims to the Holy Land before the fall of the Latin Kingdom in 1291; his account is the most detailed description of the Holy Land from the 13th cent.

An antique pine barrel back standing corner cabinet, enclosed by panelled doors120w x 60d x 185h cmBottom shelf measures 25cm high. Lower section from the floor to the bottom of the upper section measures 64cm high. Overall condition is usable and complete. Collected from a local house move so is unrestored, with signs of use. Was hand made using old timber to fit the house so has an antique appearance, with some knocks and missing corners etc to look old.
A 1930's limed oak cabinet, together with a bentwood occasional table and a console table (3)78w x 47d x 112h cmCabinet is solid and usable, but generally dry and dirty, most noticeably to the top surface. No shelf inside. Console table looks crude, perhaps homemade and to date to circa 1970's. Dirty and marked.
