A Victorian mahogany chiffonier, mid-19th century, with foliate scroll carved back and shelf, with moulded frieze drawer above two arched panelled cupboard doors enclosing two drawers and two adjustable shelves, flanked by scroll supports, on plinth base, 158cm high x 124cm wide x 46.5cm deep Condition Report: The drawer linings are made of pine. There is a pendant finial drop which is missing from the left side of the underside of the upper galleried shelf. The scroll that supports it is present but detached. There is some noticeble surface wear, scratching and deterioration throughout. Some slight flaking to surface (probably old varnish) throughout and some slight splitting and losses to veneers at edges, Some small patches of veneer have been restuck. All of the drawers are stiff and the central lockable drawer has been cut down at front.
