Scratches on the interior shelf. There is a crack on the left hand stretcher of the base, that has been glued back together. Surface marks to the top.

An early 17th century oak three tier buffet with mid tier drawer, turned column supports and stile feet, 88cm wide, 39cm deep, 119cm high***CONDITION REPORT***Overall of a rich dark blackish brown tone, with fair state of polish, a little more rubbed towards the front of each of the shelves. Carving looks a little stiff and shallow, and may well be later. A 17th century oak court cupboard with moulded top and two panelled doors over two further panelled doors on stile feet, 113cm wide, 50cm deep, 153cm high***CONDITION REPORT***Overall of a good rich mid to dark oak brown colour, a few chips and knocks around the moulded top which may be a later albeit old addition, brass knob handles look later, a later lock has been fitted to the right top drawer, separations and old splits running throughout the timbers, tips of the corners of the mid tier broken away, brass knobs and wooden latch to the lower doors also look old but later, remnants of an old iron latch present as is the original boarded shelf. A Victorian teak campaign chest with press cupboard with two panelled doors enclosing a single shelf over two short and three graduated long drawers, on turned feet, 118cm wide, 53cm deep, 168cm high***CONDITION REPORT***Overall of a good rich gingerish reddish tone, darker at the sides, in good honest untouched condition, upper section sits loose upon the chest part and has a raised upper rim which has some losses inside the back corner, various scratches and other dent marks around the top, small chip out of the moulding near the left hand escutcheon on the doors which enclose a single fixed shelf, locks and hinges look original but no key present, chest base has scuffing and scratching where the upper section has moved about upon it, again looks to be fitted with original locks and handles but no key present, scattered small scuffing marks, more so to the sides where there are also some patching inserts and small veneer losses, modelling of the brass loop handles is slightly different on the upper section compared to those that match on the chest base, wear to the turned legs, a split running vertically down both sections on the right of the chest.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place. Registration - K232 FYKChassis No - TBCM.O.T. - 09/2024Odometer - 84,000The vendor has apparently owned this cheeky 1993 Sprite for eight years. It was his first car, and we understand it to have been used regularly and well maintained but dry stored through the winter months. In recent times it has benefited from new front wings, rear valance, sills and wheels, and been resprayed in its original livery of Diamond White. The original interior has also received attention, with the centre console and facia having been renewed. The vendor admits the Mini has seen little use since the lockdown, but confirms that it’s a ‘reliable little car that does what it should’. He currently grades the engine, manual transmission, bodywork and upholstery as ‘excellent’, and the electrics and paintwork and tyres as ‘good’. It now seeks a new owner and is being offered complete with Sony radio/CD unit coupled to a separate amp and pair of parcel shelf-mounted speakers, its original handbook, pair of keys and a collection of old MOT certificates, plus a fresh one with 12 months to run. It is doubtful if any other model of car can match the classic Mini for the number of special editions it inspired. The Sprite was created in the autumn of 1983 in anticipation of the model’s upcoming 25th anniversary. It revived a name last used for the baby Austin-Healey back in 1971, and offered an intermediate level of trim between that of the Mini City on which it was based and the plusher Mini Mayfair. It was powered by the well-proven 998cc version of the A Series engine and initially offered in either Cinnabar Red or Primula Yellow matched to grey herringbone upholstery; though a number of other colours were later used. The Sprite rode on 5x10 inch Exacton alloy wheels and featured Mini Special wheel arch extensions, twin door mirrors, and 1275 GT instrumentation. The production run was 2,500 units.
