An early 19th Century mahogany stick barometer, the silvered dial with alcohol thermometer, vernier scale and inscribed `P. Barine, York`, the case with broken arch pediment above a glazed door and trunk with boxwood and ebony stringing terminating in a turned cistern cover, height approx 96cm.
A George III oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with engraved foliate centre framed by a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and inscribed `Nat Hedge, Colchester`, cornered with cast and pierced gilt mask and scroll spandrels, the hood with swan neck pediment above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk door with shaped top on a plain base and bracket feet, height approx 205cm, together with pendulum and weight.
An 18th Century oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with matt centre and single hand, framed by a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and inscribed `Wm Pride, Sarum`, cornered with pierced scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment above glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with rectangular door on a plain base and plinth, height approx 193cm, together with pendulum and weight.
A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with strike/silent indicator to arch above Roman numerals and outer Arabic minutes framing subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed `Brockbank, London`, the hood with swan neck pediment flanked by turned finials above a crossbanded glazed door and stop fluted columns, the crossbanded arched trunk door beneath inlaid fan paterae corners, flanked by fluted corner columns, on a panelled base with fan paterae inlaid corners and bracket feet, height approx 240cm, together with two weights and a pendulum.
A 19th Century oak and metal bound silver trunk, the front bearing brass plaque inscribed `I.K. Brunel Esq`, also painted with `I. Brunel` having been overpainted with `S.W.A. Noble Esq`, the lid interior bearing manufacturer`s label `Grayhurst & Harvey... 64 Strand...`, width approx 80cm. Provenance: S.W.A. Noble refers to Saxton William Armstrong Noble, who married Celia Brunel James, the granddaughter of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
