A Samson after Bow porcelain chamberstick c.1880, in the form of two exotic birds perched in a tree, the branches applied with leaves and small flowers forming a figure of eight, the trunk similarly decorated, one branch curving from the base around the back of the trunk forming a handle with shell thumb-piece, on a rounded base decorated with moulded scrolls, highlighted in pale blue and gilt, the base marked Modèle Samson in black script, 9½in. (24cm.) high, restorations.
A Meissen figure of an 18th century lady late 19th / early 20th century, with decorator`s mark `J. Sch` in red and Pressnumer, standing on a square naturalistic base with moulded scrolls and gilded highlights, holding a pannier of flowers and a posy in her hand, wearing an upturned tricorn hat with an applied spray of flowers, a pink striped and blue floral decorated underskirt with the pale green overskirt partially folded up to her waist, her yellow ground jacket with brown floral decoration opened at the front revealing a blue striped bodice, a central panel of netting and a spray of flowers to one side, standing before a small tree trunk between two rocks, the base with underglaze blue crossed sword mark and incised B65, 19in.(48cm.) high, minor losses to foliage and flowers, possible restoration to fingers on one hand.
An 18th century eight day longcase clock the five pillar twin train bell strike movement with anchor escapement, the square brass dial signed `Anth Harrison London`, with matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, pierced steel hands, silvered Roman chapter ring and gilt cherub and crown spandrels, in a provincial stained pine case, the trunk door with lentical, 84in. (215cm.) high.
A 19thC flamed mahogany long case clock, with swan neck pillared hood and similar ring turn column trunk and moulded door, over a nulled base on splay feet, the painted dial having a harvest scene with figures to the arch, floral spandrels, Roman numerals and subsidiary second ring and marked Shepperley & PEARCE, Nottingham, eight-day movement striking a bell, 235cm high.
