A Stuart Turner model of a ‘Score’ twin cylinder horizontal live steam mill engine, of open crank design with brass oiler cups, trunk guides to cylinders having metal cladding with brass drain cocks, steam valve chests to sides and linked to eccentric driven steam valves. The engine mounted on metal sole plate with spoked flywheel. Length 16cm.
A well-engineered model of a horizontal ‘over-type’ live steam engine, mounted on copper boiler with wooden simulated plank cladding having polished brass bands. The boiler with fittings including steam pressure gauge, water sight-glass, firebox door, the single cylinder with mounted Pickering type speed governor, pulley linkage to open crank with trunk guide, eccentric driven steam valve, brass oiler cups, spoked flywheel and mounted water storage tank to plinth plate. COLLIER OF ECCLES; a late 18th/early 19th century mahogany longcase clock with broken swan neck pediment above eagle finial above fretwork, the circular dial set with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and rolling moon phase featuring a hunting scene, the trunk with arched door flanked by quarter turned reeded columns, on plinth base to associated ogee feet, height 235cm.Additional InformationDial has been repainted and there is lots of craquelure to the rolling moon phase, the case has replaced finials, some cracks to the moulding, very slight warping to the case, general surface wear throughout, we are unable to tell if the clock is in working order but has come from a local private home. The base is very slightly faded to the right hand side.

BENACCHIO; a pair of Italian cherubic figures (both af), impressed anchor marks to base, height 12cm, and a similar unmarked shoe with cherub and floral decoration, also two porcelain trinket boxes by Capodimonte and Limoges (both af).Additional InformationOne figure has wing detached, broken off and crudely repaired head and left arm, further chips and damage, also broken right through the feet and the tree trunk, the other has had the wings put back on, further chips to the foliage, the shoe also with some losses. The Capodimonte trinket box with crack through lid, the Limoges box hinged lid now detached from the body, both with rubbing to coloured detail, marks, nicks, etc.
