A Chinese doucai vase, of ovoid form, the body decorated lotus blossom and foliage, having two elephant head and trunk handles, with a Kangxi type six character mark to the base, elephant head handles chipped/slight loss of glaze, firing crack to the inside base, not visible from the outside, 23 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RBGenerally good, a few nibbles/minor chips or loss, predominantly to the elephant's head and trunk loop handles, when you look into the bottom of the vase from the top, there is a large firing crack, although this is not visible from the outside underneath, no major chips, no restoration.
