From the estate of R J 'Bob' Curry (Dec'd) of Grantham.
A George III oak cottage and inlaid long case clock with 8 day movement, with broken scroll pediment hood with brass finials and embossed lion mask mounts, the painted white 13" dial with staggered Arabic numerals and sliding moonphase marked Rd Evans, Shrewsbury with subsidiary seconds dial, pierced calendar aperture and painted spandrels above a trunk inlaid centrally with a flowering urn motif flanked by fluted columns above a shell inlaid trunk, 227 cm high total, 51 cm wide (maximum, at hood base).
A fine vanity trunk by Asprey & Co Ltd, fitted with separate vanity case and silver gilt backed vanity set, hallmarked London, 1934, comprising mirrors, brushes, comb, and bottles, mirrors and brushes monogrammed MHS, in blue leather case with gilt initials M H-S; also containing a handsome ten-piece set of late Victorian tortoise shell dressing table set, with yellow metal Gothic monogram MHS, retailed by Drew & Sons, Piccadilly Circus; together with a white vellum trunk (2).

A George III mahogany longcase clock by James Warren of Canterbury, the 12ins arched painted dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch painted with classical urn and with spandrels decorated in gilt, to the eight day two train five pillar movement striking on a bell, in mahogany case the hood with shaped top above arched and moulded cornice and with turned and fluted pillars, the shaped trunk door veneered in figured mahogany and inlaid with boxwood stringings and crossbanded, the base with raised astragal moulding and on bracket feet, 94ins high (including later brass finials) Note: James Warren recorded working Canterbury 1767-1793
