A late George III mahogany long case clock, the case with moulded cornice above a pair of column supports and a rectangular moulded trunk door, raised on a shaped plinth base, the 11 inch floral painted Roman dial set a 30 hour movement with anchor escapement, striking bell. A longcase clock, the 32 cm painted square arched dial having Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, fitted an eight day movement, in a mahogany case, 206 cm high (over finial), and a wall clock (2) Condition report Report by MW The clock is generally in poor condition. The painted dial is crazed. The subsidiary seconds dial hand is missing and there is paint damage in the arch at the right hand and left hand side See illustration The clock comes with pendulum and weights. The clock is currently not running, and is dirty. Movement is dirty. The case requires re-polishing and the trunk door is warped.
A longcase clock, the 28 cm square brass dial, having Roman numerals, signed Taylor Bridgnorth 606, fitted a 30 hour movement striking on a bell, in an extensively carved oak case, 207 cm high See illustration Condition report Report by RB Very much in a market fresh condition, the matt centre has some sort of gilt looking paint to it, the silvered dial is with awful varnish which makes it look brass and the spandrels have been painted to match the centre. The movement is slightly loose on its (later) seat board. The case, no glass to the hood door, carving all Victorian, the whole of the backboard has been replaced at some point, modern trunk door lock, hinges weak. Overall now requiring some work, with key, pendulum and single weight.

The clock has recently been serviced and the case cleaned. Please see detailed images of the trunk movement and hood. The clock comes from a private client and has come to auction due to a recent house move. Report by RB Probably a third quarter of the 18th century.

A late 19th century French trunk with simulated pigskin cover reinforced with wooden straps, and copper edges and corners, with two carrying handles and with a decoration of studs to the hinged lid, and a plaque engraved "P.D. Nancy", the interior covered in ticking, including two removable shelves and a divided base, width 79cm, height 44cm, and a metal plaque stating "Ferme la porte SVP" (2).
