This exquisite Swarovski figurine, “Woodpeckers – Sharing,” is the 1988 Annual Edition created exclusively for SCS members. It belongs to the "Caring and Sharing" trilogy and was designed by Adi Stocker. Depicting a parent woodpecker and its baby perched on a tree trunk, the piece is a poignant representation of the emotional connection of sharing, brought to life through Swarovski's iconic precision-cut crystal artistry. Produced during a transitional period for Swarovski's logo, this piece may feature either the older SC/SCS logo or the swan logo. The frosted trunk base identifies this as the more common version, as opposed to the rarer clear base. The craftsmanship of this piece includes notable variations due to its hand assembly, such as differences in head placement and the positioning of the beaks, which may appear crossed or farther apart.Artist: Adi StockerIssued: 1988Dimensions: 4.25"HCountry of Origin: AustriaCondition: Age related wear.
