An early 18th century and later walnut long case clock the dial signed John Longe, London The cavetto moulded cornice above a glazed door flanked by turned pilasters, the 11" dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial with pierced gilt brass 'boys and crown' spandrels, now fitted with a later weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell; above a crossbanded trunk and plinth moulded base, 41cm wide, 24cm deep, 189cm high.
