GEORGE MONKS, PRESCOTT; a 19th century mahogany cased eight-day longcase clock, the painted dial with calendar aperture and secondary dial, the hood surmounted with broken swan neck pediment and a brass ball finial, with reeded brass-topped Corinthian columns to the hood and quarter-cut pilasters to the trunk, height approx. 235cm.Condition Report: - The feet have been cut off. The case with scratches, dents and some splits, as to be expected. The dial is crazed and has been repainted at some point. We cannot comment on the working of the movement.
A rare 19th century Erzgebirge painted wooden farm, comprising three blue, white, brown and orange painted houses, carved wooden bull, two standing and lying cow, a calf, a horse, two pigs, a rabbit, a dog, eight fowl, five sheep and two goats, six composition people, six loofah trees and fencing, in original wooden box with ink numbers to base 2077/2 1/2 —3in. (7.5cm.) height of people (one man missing arm, three fowl missing legs and tree missing trunk and base)
A George III red lacquer longcase clock, the pagoda hood with 12inch brass dial signed 'Isaac Vallet Southampton', moonphase disc to the arch, seasonal figural spandrels, seconds dial and date aperture, 8 day 5 pillar movement, the trunk decorated with Chinoiserie scene of figures and buildings above animals, on a plinth base, some restoration and repainting of the case 235cm highwith 2 weights (formerly brass cased), pendulum and case key. Some refreshment and repainting to case. Currently working. Noticeable vertical crack to front of base plinth. Skirting replaced. Hood with some re-construction. New hood guide-rail to left side. Overall a good looking clock. Please see photos and judge accordingly.

A circa 1900 French strap work decorated trunk by Au Depart of Paris with patterned printed fabric covering of lozenge design variously inscribed "Au Depart Paris 29 Avenue de L'Opera" to the main body, brass work and leather work opening to reveal a fabric lined interior (interior tray missing) 110 cm x 53 cm x 51 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has a slight bow to the top. Scratching and losses to the binding throughout. One area on the left hand side looks particularly scratched and the equivalent on the right hand side. Knocks and bumps throughout. The remains of a fairly modern white label to one side. Verdigris to the metal ware in places. Some of the lattice decoration to the interior is broken. Inner tray is missing. Some points of rusting coming through to the material. Signs of old worm to the wooden binding. Key missing. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further details.

Movement requires cleaning. Original pendulum and weights. Surface wear and marks commensurate with age. In generally good original condition.
Doulton Lambeth stoneware desktop grandfather clock, circa 1880, the hood and trunk with incised scrolled designs and applied prints, the base with reek key design, in navy, green and core glazes, the circular dial with Roman numerals, cylinder movement, unidentified artist monogram, stamped factory mark, 31cm.Condition report:The front corners of the domed top may have touches of professional restoration, just at the point of the capitals of the pillars. Otherwise the ceramic aspect is in very good condition, no chips or hairlines. The clock face is lacking any glass, and the white metal mount has some creases to it, and the gilt rim is flaking and worn. The movement and cover to the back may be replaced. Not presently working. No key.
