Early 20th century travelling trunk, probably canvas painted brown, leather trimmed, lined in striped silk fabric, labelled 'T Adams Saddler Portmanteau, Trunk and Bag Maker 406 Lord Street Southport', containing two good lengths of Harris tweed; two lengths of wool suiting by Andrew Armitage, Huddersfield; knitted cream wool shawl in Dicken & Jones box; an ermine fur muff and collar in original box; ermin cape lined in cream satin; 1950's dark mink shoulder cape; and a small quantity of linen, tablecloths and mats; together with a long dark mink coat and a light brown mink jacket

J. Hall, Beverley, a George III oak long case clock, c.1770, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12" brass dial with silvered chapter ring and seconds dial, the hood with eagle finials to a plain trunk, key, pendulum and two weights, 230 cm. John Hall was a Beverley clockmaker and had his premises on the east side of Sow Hill in Saturday Market from 1748 for 55 years. He was a prolific Beverley clock maker and was helped by his son, John II who was apprenticed to him between the years, 1767 and 1774. He was also helped by his other son, Joseph who was born in July 1765. For a similar example see the Wilberforce House, Museum, Hull, accession number KINCM:2002.499.6.
A Peter Rabbitman Heap of Wetwang adzed oak longcase clock, the plain oblong hood with half-penny style moulding and carved rabbit motif to the top, enclosing a German two-weight movement striking on three gongs, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, adzed panels to the hood, trunk and base and three glazed panels to the door with wrought iron fittings and stile supports, 199cm high
FEI DANXU (Xiao Lou) (1801-1850)Set of four hanging scroll paintings depicting the four seasons, women in various landscape settings, signed and seal marks, framed and glazed. CONDITION REPORT: Generally slightly brown and overall a few surface scratches. One or two small water splashes and a few well-backed wormed holes, colour generally fairly good. Panels are two piece paper pasted together WOMEN IN BOAT: dark spot above figure on river. Piece of grass trapped lower left. Browning to paper from tree upwards particularly at right hand side. TWO WOMEN STANDING BY A TREE: One slightly pale splash to forehead on women at right, another couple of pale splashes to left hand side of women a few pale streaks of black above their heads. Paper slightly buckled centre top in two areas. FLUTE PLAYER: Three white splash areas near upper branch, 1 horizontal repaired worm hole, centre above rocks approx. 3cm. Another couple of pale splashes on leg of table and left of plant below, crease to paper at label.TWO WOMEN STANDING BEHIND A TREE BRANCH:Slight creases to bottom area of painting and another just above top knot of ladies. A few small dark splashes and pale splash at left hand side between branches, another lower left hand side below tree trunk
Pair of Meissen style continental porcelain bird models raised on naturalistic trunk bases with relief flowerhead and foliage decoration, blue cross sword marks to base, 19cm tall. CONDITION REPORT: PARROT 1:- has broken tail feathers and nibbles to blue flowers. PARROT 2: good condition with only one chip to flower on the stand.
An early 20th century silver three piece tea service, each rounded square body hammered, bamboo handles growing from a rocky base, a gnarled trunk enclosing cherry blossoms on one side, seal marks and silver marks to include that of Tian Xing, approximately 1040 grams (4) The tea pot has a soldered hole to one side of its base
An early 20th century oak miniature longcase clock and thermometer, the cream circular dial set with Roman numerals and Arabic numeral minute markers with Fahrenheit and Centigrade mercury and ivorine thermometer to trunk, height 40cm, dial width 8.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Chip to upper left corner of top, general surface wear to case, staining to ivorine, clock and thermometer appear to be in working order.
A dome top twin handled steamer/travelling trunk with previous owner's name inscribed to front 'N.Morris.', height 65cm, width 92cm (hinged lid af). CONDITION REPORT: Hinged lid has become completely detached to trunk body, considerable wear and tear throughout with outer lining peeling and fraying particularly to rear, viewing is recommended.
