A Dutch burr walnut cased longcase clock The fret carved arched hood enclosing the brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed Paulus Barmer, Amsteldam, beneath a rolling moonphase movement, the trunk with a cartouche shaped door centred with a brass mounted lentice, the bombe base stainding on claw and ball feet. 254 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some splits and losses to veneeers, some damage to fretwork, some beading lacking, scuffing, scratching, general wear.
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany longcase clock The broken swan neck pediment above the brass dial with silvered chapter ring with subsidiary dials including Whittington and Westminster chimes, striking on nine gongs, the glazed trunk with an attached presentation plaque. Approximately 246 cms high. CONDITION REPORTS: Some paint splatters to case, woodworm damage to base of case, small panel missing to back at base of case, silk damage and loss to fretwork panels, general wear, clocks not guaranteed in working order.

A George III oak eight day longcase clock by John Stancliffe. The brass arch top dial incorporates a moon roller, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and a date chapter. The hood has a swan neck pediment and flanking Corinthian columns, the trunk is adorned with blind fret carving and having fluted quarter columns, 229cm high, Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Seat board totally re built presumably the works are a late marriage. In very good and clean condition otherwise. With pendulum. No weights or key.
A George III longcase clock by Jeremiah Standring of Bolton, Lancashire. The brass arch topped dial incorporates a moon roller, silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds, date aperture and is inscribed "Time flies pursue it man. For why? Thy days are but a span. The four pillar eight day movement with anchor escapement chimes hourly on a bell. The figured mahognay case with pagoda and swan neck hood is adorned with maple panels, fluted column supports and blind fret carving. The trunk with broad door is flanked by a pair of quarter columns over a stepped base supported on ogee bracket feet. 260cm tall. 233cm to the swan neck. Hood 24cm deep, 51cm wide. Base 26cm deep 54cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Upper pagoda section a later addition. Case otherwise appears unaltered and in good order. Mechanism working. Sold with weights, pendulum, case key and winding key.
Thomas Bass, Raunds. An early 19th century oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, the scrolled arched pediment enclosing an eight day bell striking movement faced by painted arched dial around Roman chapter and subsidiary dials, the trunk with half-length door above a box base on plinth, 210cm.
Mackenzie Thorpe (b.1956) ``The Couple Forever`` Signed, inscribed, and dated 2013, pastel, 112cm by 80cm Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist *PLEASE NOTE: Droit de Suite Royalty Charges (or ARR) apply to this lot The pastel has not been sealed with a fixative and as such there are areas where it has smudged into the margins (see images before framing). The work has now been framed. There is a scratch to the upper left hand side under the top leaf with the bee (approximately 30cm horizontally) There is also a minor scratch towards the right hand side at the top of the brown tree trunk. There are some speckled areas within the man`s trousers and the leaves on the right hand side (these may be intentional by the artist). Otherwise appears ok. Has not been examined out of the frame.
