An Edwardian silver novelty pincushion, modelled as a camel, maker's mark worn, Birmingham 1907, 5.5cm high, and a similar unmarked novelty pincushion in the form of an elephant. (2)Elephant - tip of trunk is broken off and dented. Some dents to the body, one hind leg seam is cracked/split. Camel - a few dents and knocks to the body, replacement pincushion.

TWO VINTAGE SUITCASES AND A TRAVELLING TRUNK, the trunk was sent to a Dr Fletcher in Worcestershire from a shipping agent in Baltimore USA, it has carry handles on each end, it is slightly distressed in some areas but the shipping labels are still intact, the cases include a small brown leather type case that has some minor damage and a larger case with again wear to the exterior, Customers must satisfy themselves prior to sale in regards to conditions and authenticity, viewing is advised, condition reports are available on request

Original vintage travel advertising poster promoting air freight services with BOAC featuring a fun and colourful mid-century style graphic design by Manfred Reiss (1922-1987) of a smiling elephant holding onto a Speedbird plane logo with its trunk, the diagonal text trailing two smaller logos: You can send almost anything by Air Freight. (The British Overseas Airways Corporation / BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, introducing the world's first passenger jets to its service in 1952 and merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA.) A 19th century eight-day longcase clock with moonphase by John Smerdon of Newton Abbot - the bell-strike, four-pillar movement fronted by a painted arched Roman dial with floral spandrels, arched date aperture, subsidiary seconds dial and painted moonphase to the arch, the case with shaped arched hood with spiral reeded columns, over a canted trunk and plain base with bracket feet, 187 cm high, lacks finials and back feet from base.
An early 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock - the hood with caddy top with central glazed panel and brass stop-fluted columns, over an arched trunk door and panelled base, the bell strike movement fronted by a painted Roman dial with gilt painted leafy scroll spandrels and arch, subsidiary seconds at 12 and arched date aperture at 6, with brass cased lead weights, pendulum and winder, requires some restoration, 233 cm high.
A mid-18th century 30-hour weight-driven longcase clock by Giles Bennett of Malmesbury - the bell-strike movement with four knopped pillars, fronted by a square brass dial signed to the Roman chapter ring and engraved to the centre with flowers, foliage and a seated squirrel 'seated' on the chamfered date aperture, an Arabic subsidiary dial at 12, with gilt-brass floral and leafy scroll spandrels, with a single lead weight and brass and lead pendulum, the oak case with ogee moulded caddy top on parcel-gilt three-quarter columns, over a plain trunk and base with later stained pine bracket foot plinth, probably reduced in height, 206 cm high. * Giles Bennett is recorded in G H Baillie, 'Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World' as working in Malmesbury from 1752 to 1766.
An early 19th century mahogany eight-day longcase clock by George Suggate of Halesworth with rocking ship automata - the bell-strike, four-pillar movement fronted by a painted arched Arabic dial with arched date aperture, subsidiary seconds, gilt and painted floral spandrels and rocking ship automata to the arch, the good quality case with arched hood with outset brass stop-fluted columns (one missing), over an arched trunk door with stop-fluted canted corners, on a panelled base, 206 cm high, lacks pendulum and weights.
