A stained and carved camphor wood trunk 100 cm wide x 41 cm deep x 55 cm high, a modern oak single pedestal desk/dressing table 101 cm wide x 50.5 cm deep x 75 cm high, a pair of modern duck egg blue and gold painted bedside tables 46 cm square x 65 cm high and a modern Indian hardwood nest of three occasional tables 45 cm wide x 30 cm deep x 45.5 cm high and a Lloyd Loom style box ottoman
An 18th Century mahogany cased long case clock, the eight day movement with brass arched dial and circular medallion inscribed "Mattw Wylie Paisley No. 551" over the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture within a foliate engraved centre plate, the case with Chinese chippendale style pagoda top and writhen twist column decoration 52 cm wide x 218 cm high x 25.5 cm deep with two weights, pendulum and winding key CONDITION REPORTS Whilst condition basically sound, there have been several areas of repair and restoration. The finials to the top are clearly missing. There is damage and repair to the centre finial and fretwork both to the sides and the hood top. The glass has been replaced and has residue of the sealant visible from the front but is secure. The metalwork has had wear to the gilding on the top of the columns and is polished almost to the brass at the base. The same can be said of the trunk column caps. The hinges have been restored/replaced. The back panel has been replaced and taped along the split. There is a split to the base along the moulded section. The movement appears to be intact but not known if working - see images for further detail
SIRRAM; a vintage black leatherette car trunk picnic hamper fitted with two wicker wrapped square section decanters, white enamelled lidded tin with a chrome lid, teapot, plates, etc, 47 x 66 x 18cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: There are several losses and missing items to the interior, which is contained within a wire framework. The metallic items that are present are rusted and corroded, as is the metal frame.

The lot to include a gold plated filigree bar brooch set with seven oval cut citrines, a Victorian silver crescent brooch with suspended bell, and a Victorian silver harp brooch (AF, stones missing). Citrine brooch measures 8cm wide, crescent 3.5cm wide, harp measures 2.5cm wide. Silver weight approx 11.2g. The lot to include a Japanese shakudo pin featuring birds with floral detailing, two mother of pearl hat pins, a tortoiseshell and white stone pin and a pique work finial pin. A well-engineered model of a H Clarkson & Son of York vertical compound steam marine engine, These engines rarely come on the market and being the first to pass through this auction house. The cylinders being 2 inch and 1 1/2 inch diameter bores by 2 inch stroke. Lagged with blued plate-work and supported on trunk guides with open disc crank, eccentric driven steam valves, Stephenson's reverse with wheel operated direction control, bearings fitted with brass oiler cups, fitted brass displacement oiler and 6 inch diameter spoked flywheel.The model is finished in blue paintwork with polished bright-work. Overall height 37cm. Length 39cm.
A well-engineered model of a Stuart Turner 5A vertical live steam engine, built by Mr C Compton of Somerset, the single cylinder 2 1/4 inch bore by 2 inch stroke and having blued metal lagging, drain cocks with associated copper pipework, oiler system, single cylinder supported on trunk guide, open crank with eccentric driven steam valve, ratchet oiler system run from crank, steam inlet valve with fitted hand wheel and polished copper exhaust pipe. The engine finished in grey paintwork set on metal sole plate and mounted on metal and wooden base measuring 24cm x 23cm. Overall height 40cm.
A well-engineered model of a H Clarkson & Son of York vertical single cylinder steam engine. The single cylinder with 2 inch bore by 2 inch stroke being built to 1 1/2 inch to the foot scale. Brass lagged cylinder supported on trunk guide with open disc crank, eccentric driven steam valve, Stephenson's reverse with wheel operated direction control, bearings with oiler points. 6 inch diameter spoked flywheel. The model fitted with a water pump driven from the open crank and finished in green paintwork with polished bright-work. Overall height 38cm. Sole plate 21cm x 18cm.
A well-engineered freelance model of a horizontal steam mill engine, built by Mr D. Russell of Fraserburgh, the single cylinder 3/4 inch bore by 1 1/2 inch stroke with wooden lagging and brass banding, open crank, trunk cross-head guide and eccentric operated steam valve linked to crank with pair of spoked flywheels 10cm diameter. The model finished in red paintwork and mounted on wooden plinth measuring 28cm x 8.5cm. Overall height 11cm including plinth.
A Bing Company lying live steam plant, being spirit fired and comprising of a horizontal brass boiler with steam pressure gauge, water sight glass, safety valve, whistle and supported on simulated brick-work plinth with matching chimney stack, single cylinder mill engine of open crank design with trunk guide, spoked flywheel and fitted oiler cups. The engine driving a small generator. The whole mounted on metal plinth measuring 40cm x 36cm. Circa 1912.
