An early 19th Century mahogany cross banded and inlaid eight day long case clock, unsigned, the hood with swan neck pediment over free standing columns, to a moulded throat with cantered corners and shaped, short trunk door on a plinth base with inlaid shell detail throughout to a 13 1/2" second period painted dial (as found) with rosette spandrels, hemispheres to a moon roller, Arabic chapter ring enclosing subsidiary second and date sector and stamped brass hands with 'Osborne' signed false plate to a movement with plates united by four knopped pillars and anchor escapement, strike on a replacement bell, height 216cm

The glass and door have been replaced. The case is generally in good order, though there is some separation noted at the joins on the bottom half of the trunk. The clock is signed Edw Hunt.
