An oak late 18th century North Country longcase clock, the 30 hour striking movement with a square brass 13in. dial, with central moon phase aperture, a place for a subsidiary seconds and date (gearing missing), inscribed 'Thomas Lister (Jnr), the hood with swan neck pediment, the glazed door with brass capped side pillars, the trunk with an arc doublet top rectangular door, quadrant turned corner pilasters, the panelled base on bracket feet. 7ft. (2in.). (2.185m.) high. * See Brian Loom 'Yorkshire Clockmakers'. Born 1745, son of T. Lister. Worked with his father from 1765. Made clocks of an complex nature in a shop in Bull Green.. Died 1814.

ADAM ROUTLEDGE JNR., CARLISLE (1794-1869) A 19TH CENTURY OAK AND CROSSBANDED MAHOGANY 30 HOUR LONG-CASED CLOCK, having a swan-neck pediment with terminals, the arched hood between turned columns, the trunk door with oval panel, between half reeded columns, plain base with canted corners and bracket feet, the enamelled dial with painted fruit to the arch, Roman hours and Arabic seconds, date aperture, 218cm (86in) high, (sold with weight and pendulum). ***Adam Routledge Jnr. originally had a shop in English Street, in the corner of Three Crowns Lane and probably became No 35 English Street, at which address he worked until he died.
YEATES AND SONS, PENRITH (C1840-1850) A MID VICTORIAN OAK AND CROSSBANDED MAHOGANY 8 DAY LONG-CASED CLOCK, having a swan neck pediment over an arched door with plain columns, steeple trunk door and plain base on bracket feet, the arched dial painted with a farmer harvesting, painted spandrels framing Roman numerals. 217cm high (85.5in), sold with two weights and a pendulum.

A scarce Charbens series clockwork walking barrow boy, a diecast character toy depicting a man dressed in a long green coat with yellow tie and bowler style hat pushing a 2 wheeled hand cart painted mid lilac blue, with yellow wheels and carrying an orange painted trunk.
