Chinese Style Warrior`s Valedictory Jade Suit . An undated archaistic Han Dynasty style life-size burial suit composed from `jade` tiles, probably serpentine or bowenite, mainly rectangular in plan with some trapezoidal, rhomboidal, discoid and other forms held by thin copper wire; the body of the suit edged with fabric, including separate elements for the trunk, legs, arms, hands and feet; additional carved elements to the body. 18 kg total, approximately 156 cm (61 1/2"). An Edwardian silver dish holder in the Liberty manner, the circular holder set with twin handles and pierced blossom tree motifs to edge, raised on four half ball feet, the base inscribed "Connell 83 Cheapside London" (by George Lawrence Connell; G. L. Connell Limited, London, 1902), 10.2 oz. CONDITION REPORTS Approx. 15 cm diameter excluding handles, 6.5 cm high. Has a dent running the length of one tree trunk a couple of mm from the tree trunk, has various scratches and scrapes conducive with age and use all over, and some significant scratches underneath one foot, bears registration No. 3222? The handles have some slight irregularities to the surface shape, but do not appear to be dented.
A late 18th Century dome top trunk with fabric covering, bearing label to interior "Thomas Cox, Trunk Manufacturer, Park Street, Cirencester, Portmanteaus, Travelling Bags, Bonnet Boxes, etc.", with brass carrying handles, 56.5 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS Canvas covering shows area of wear along edges conducive with age and use, some signs of woodworm, back canvas covering is bubbled and there is a split at the top, and a line of tacks in the bottom 5 cm of the back of the trunk, lock is missing, interior is in a worn condition with staining (see images for further details).
A mahogany cased long case clock, the gilt arched dial with subsidiary dials marks Westminster, St Michaels, Whittington, and Silent, Chime, silvered chapter ring with gilt numerals and gilt scroll decoration, inscribed Russell Ltd Manchester, with hammers to the movement with multiple tubes to the case, with broken swan neck pediment to the hood and reeded columns to the trunk, bearing a brass presentation plaque to the inside of the door

A 19thC mahogany north country longcase clock, of eight day striking movement, the painted dial with floral spandrels decorated with a figure by a well to the arch, signed John Blaylock, Carlisle, the hood with a swan neck pediment flanked by turned pilasters, above a plain crossbanded trunk door, 224cm high.
An 18th Century oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre, applied with a silvered plaque inscribed `Ben. Lamprey, Brackley`, cornered with cast and pierced gilt foliate scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment above a glazed door, the trunk with rectangular door, on a plinth base, height approx 200.5cm, together with pendulum, weight and case key (minor alterations and restoration).
An early 19th Century mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed `JA. Blagburn, Gateshead`, within a frame of Roman numerals, the break arch painted with a scene of a figure on camel back approaching a further figure, cornered with scenes of ruins, the hood with swan neck pediment above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with arched door and corner columns, on a circular panelled base and bun feet, height approx 235cm, with pendulum and two weights.
An early 18th Century burr walnut longcase clock with brass five pillar eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with silvered chapter ring and black Roman numerals, framing a matt centre with subsidiary seconds and date aperture, beneath a silvered boss to the arch inscribed `Tho Wightman in George Yard, Lombard Street, London`, all cornered with pierced and cast gilt spandrels, the hood with caddy top and three giltwood ball finials above blind frieze frets and glazed door flanked by turned columns, the trunk with arched door, on a crossbanded base and plinth, height approx 260cm, with pendulum, two brass cased weights and keys (restoration). Note: Thomas Wightman apprenticed to Henry Hester Jr in 1692.
