Rare Pratt Ware American Sailor toby jug, circa 1800, wearing an ochre jacket, blue yellow and green striped waistcoat and blue and white striped britches, clutching a jug of foaming ale in his left hand and a mug in his right, seated on his trunk which has the erroneously spelt script 'Dollars' to each side, and anchor between his feet, 30.5cm high Condition: The handle and the hat show signs of restoration and there are large visible restored cracks running around the back of the chest that the figure is sat on (see extra images), the tankard in the right hand broken off but we have the part, we would recommend viewing this lot in person - **General condition consistent with age

A George III mahogany longcase clock by John Smith of Chester, with two-train striking movement and moon phase, the case with swans neck pediment, long trunk door and fluted quarter column corners. Height 240 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: We have the pendulum & weights. The clock appears to be ticking away and does strike when the hands are advanced to the hour. The clock case is in first class condition with no significant issues. The trunk door is only very slightly warped at the bottom left hand corner but in our opinion this is not significant. The remainder of the case is in very good condition and the bracket feet appear original. The backboards are original. The dial and moon phase are in good order and the clock could be used or resold in its current state without the need for any repair or restoration.

An early 19th century Scottish mahogany longcase clock, with swans neck pediment above the arched painted dial and two-train striking movement, flanked by turned columns, with bowed trunk door and panelled base. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally extremely good condition. It is a good colour. The doors are not warped. We have the keys and pendulum. The dial is in very good condition as are all of the pointers. The catgut has slipped of the drums on both trains. We do however see any reason why the movement should not be operational. The movement winds as it should.

A 19th century mahogany longcase clock by R. Sutton of Whitehaven, with crossbanded case and with two-train striking movement. Height 240 cm, width 66 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in reasonable condition. There are however some veneer losses to the hood, trunk and base. The left hand return foot moulding is missing and there are numerous nibbles and scuffs around the base itself. The movement is very dirty. One pointer is missing. The painted dial is a little tired. The seconds hand is missing. The glazed door is loose. The movement and dial are loose. We have not had the clock working.

An early 19th century regulator, by James Ritchie & Son of Edinburgh, with six pillar single-train movement, with Brocot type escapement, dial diameter 34 cm, the case with brass framed door flanked by quarter round column corners and all raised on short turned feet. Height 214 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This clock is in generally extremely good condition. The hood is in good order. The door is not warped. The glass and brass are original. The dial is in good condition. The movement appears to be ticking away as it should. The main trunk of the clock is in good order. The glazed door is not warped. The plinth has a veneer stress fracture running from top to bottom which is clearly evident. The sides of the piece have minor old scuffs and marks but no significant issues. There is a small repair to the moulding to the right hand top corner of the plinth base. There are one or two minor stress fractures to other sections of the mahogany but no real condition issues. The clock does not really require any repairs or restoration. The movement is generally clean and as stated seems to be ticking away.
