The case with broken swan neck pediment flanking a globe and dart finial over plain column supports and an arch topped trunk door, raised on box base and shaped bracket feet, 210cm high x 47cm wide x 25cm deep.

An oak longcase clock, the brass arched dial inscribed William Webster, Exchange Alley, London, the five-pillar eight-day movement with strike and chime, in an oak case with spiked ball finials, 233cm (91.75") high Condition Report: The clock is with pendulum and three weights and at present is in working order although the chime is out of sync, the movement it seated incorrectly and the dial arch is partially obscured by the door when closed, there is a gap between the bottom of the dial and base of hood door which closes with difficulty and is missing some glass putty; the trunk base is missing some beading and the bracket feet are in poor condition.

A Queen Anne marquetry longcase clock, circa 1700 and later, with caddy topped hood and floral marquetry case, the square brass dial signed Tho Barett of Lewes with subsidiary second dial to an eight-day striking movement, 224cm (88") high/see illustration Condition Report: The finials to the hood are missing but the clock has weights pendulum and damaged key; the side moulding to the hood slide is loose, the trunk door has re-veneered sides and the door has been re-veneered with contemporary marquetry some moulding missing, the bull?s eye later; Five pillar movement and working calendar aperture, spandrels to dial very glossy. 12" square face.

A mid-19th Century wall clock by James Hanny Wild-Cop Shrewsbury, the mahogany case with circular hood and brass bezel to the door and carved brackets to the corners, the trunk with canted sides and enclosed by an arch top door, the circular white dial signed, fitted an eight-day movement striking on a gong, 152.5cm (60") high Condition Report: The case has a small piece of veneer missing from above the keyhole escutcheon, this is retained in an envelope inside the clock; base panel with slight blistering; movement restored and with wire to the going trains. Provenance. This clock has been in the principal’s office at the Royal National College for the blind for many years.

Leather on pine, dome topped trunk, circa 1850, made by Robert Free of 115 HIgh Holborn in London. In need to total refurbishment. I did some research on the internet and found details of Robert Free and the work he produced. He made a lot of trunks for the legal profession in The Inns of Court (Lincoln`s Inn, Gray`s Inn etc) and he lived in Hoxton, east London.
