An Edwardian longcase clock by Chas Frodsham 115 New Bond Street, number 2044, having a swans neck pediment above an arched glazed door enclosing the 12 inch arched brass dial with Roman numerals, chime and silent to arch, subsidiary seconds dial and three-train movement striking on a single gong and chiming on four gongs flanked by fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, with long trunk door beneath, glazed, the base profusely inlaid. Height 100 ins (see illustration).
A George III mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, with 12 inch arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, two-train striking movement and with Tempus Fugit to the arch, flanked by fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, with long arched trunk door beneath flanked by quarter column corners with brass capitals and with conforming base. Height 90 ins (see illustration).
An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by H. Anderson of Kincardine, with eagle and ball terminal between the swans neck pediment and above the arched glazed door enclosing the 14 inch square arched painted dial with ship automaton to the arch, with Roman numerals, subsidiary date and seconds dials and two-train striking movement and spandrels painted with scenes emblematic of the four seasons, flanked by simple columns with brass capitals, with arched crossbanded trunk door beneath flanked by quarter columns and with conforming base. A mid-18th Century chinoiserie lacquered longcase clock with brass five pillar eight day movement striking on a bell, the silvered brass break arch dial with moonphase indicator to the arch above a silvered chapter ring framing a matt gilt centre with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and applied silvered plaque inscribed `SamL Guy, London`, cornered with cast and pierced gilt mask and scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded pediment and arched glazed door flanked by turned columns, the arched trunk door painted and gilt with chinoiserie scenes of figures, buildings and trees above a plain base and moulded plinth, height approx 219cm, together with pendulum and two weights (faults).
A mid-18th Century oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with matt centre, subsidiary seconds and date aperture framed by a chapter ring with Roman numerals and inscribed `James Green, London`, the hood with sarcophagus surmount above a moulded pediment, turned columns and glazed door, the trunk with rectangular door on a plain base and plinth, height approx 205cm, with pendulum and two weights (some faults).
A Regency mahogany longcase clock with an eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted circular convex dial with black Roman numerals and inscribed `T. W. Field, Aylesbury`, the arched hood with brass ball finials and bird surmounts above inset gilt metal fret panels and brass fluted corners, the arched trunk door flanked by similarly fluted corners above a panel base, on bracket feet, height approx 220cm, together with a pendulum and two weights.

Thompson, Whitehaven, an impressive 18th century North country crossbanded walnut cased 8-day longcase clock, the hood with broken swan-neck pediment over an arched trunk door flanked by canted corinthium topped pillars in the Gillows manner, the brass dial with a 'working' beam engine piston engraved to the arch, the dial with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, raised on ogee moulded bracket feet. 237 cm high overall. Condition Report Reglued cornice segments uneven, splits to veneers on side of hood, many minor splits and blemishes, large split to front of box-base, lacquer loss in XII, ticking.
