Late 19th Century Louis Vuitton Trunk, in the damier ebene two-tone check pattern, the squares periodically marked 'marque L.Vuitton déposée', bound in metal and studded wood, the brass lock stamped 'B?? SC.DG 1 RUE SCRIBE PARIS MADE IN FRANCE', the lock plated stamped '06389', with a clasp closure either side of the lock and a carry handle to each end. The cream linen lined interior with quilted and studded lid interior and two lift-out trays, internal paper label reads '104287 Louis VUITTON PARIS.1.RUE SCRIBE LONDON . 454 . ~ An oak thirty hour longcase clock, signed Joe Batty, Halifax, mid-18th century, dial chapter ring signed, dial centre with a ''Halifax moon'' and date apertures12'' dial. Case is slightly faded in parts, some cracks to the trunk sides, later re-built plinth, dial is clean, movement is dirty but complete, with pendulum, no weight.
