A George III oak longcase clock, with broken scroll neck pediment, above an arch door, enclosing a 13 inch brass dial signed by Dent, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals beneath painted man and an eight day rack striking movement with anchor escapement, above a crossbanded trunk door flanked by quartered columns above panelled base, raised on bracket feet, including two weights and a pendulum, 212 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Case: appears fairly original but has sustained knocks and bashes and has some veneer losses. the front of the plinth has split horizontally. The backboard does not appear to have been disturbed. Dial is original and appears unaltered. Movement- appears original and needs cleaning . The clock is fairly original overall and although there may be minor repairs that have occurred over time these are not substantial.

A large studded travelling trunk, together with a green canvas covered trunk and a brown trunk with wooden banding plus another CONDITION REPORTS The green trunk is approx 93 cm x 52 cm x 31 cm and has general wear and tear all over conducive with age and use. Various scuffs and scratches to the green fabric and wooden binding. Mark or stain to green fabric just over the letter H. Various other stains including white paint marks, various scuff marks to the brown leather corners. The interior is showing signs of wear in places with a few holes, scuffs and overall is generally dirty. The wooden bound brown trunk is approx 91 cm x 54 cm x 49 cm and has quite heavy wear and damage to the surface on top along with a multitude of white paint marks. All over missing sections of covering with scratches, scuffs, various other marks. Latches and catches are rusty. Wooden bindings are in poor condition. Various marks, scratches, dents. Interior paper is torn in places and missing in others. Sides to lift-out tray are lifting in places. Trunk has thin metal fitments and metal is very rusted. Metal bound trunk is approx 83 cm x 52 cm x 58 cm and is rusty and dirty overall. Heavy wear overall with considerable rusting and various tears and scuffs and scratches in the surface covering. Both handles are missing Straps are deteriorated and in disrepair. Various losses. Interior is dirty and in very poor condition.
