Chinese carved early 20th century soapstone brushwasher, the lidded spherical pot on spreading support, surrounded by five monkeys and a pierced and carved leafage apron, label to footwell 1911, Foo Chow, Sept 3rd 1911, and a carved Indian ivory elephant, 10cm and 8cm. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Brushwasher has two small chips to cover on rim. elephant missing one tusk and two finials on howdah. The trunk is glued and there is extensive restoration.

Louis Vuitton. A Louis Vuitton full size Wardrobe trunk ( malle armoire / cabine ), circa 1930s. The exterior covered with the LV monogram stencil on canvas. All brass hardware and leather trim. LV leather handles to either end, with central LV lock. Many travelling stickers like the "Calais - Méditerranée express" for those who desire a trip through time and some of the most famous hotel stickers of the Art Deco Period (Montreux Palace in Switzerland - Hôtel Continental in Paris - Hôtel Negresco in Nice). The interior numbered and lined in yellow Vuittonite and containing on one side six fitted drawers and on the other side a wardrobe with 10 hangers and a shoe case. The lock stamped "Louis Vuitton, made in France, Paris, 70 Champs-Elysées, London 149 New Bond Street" and numbered 035583, the interior with leather label stamped "Asnières s/Seine, Louis Vuitton, Paris, 70, Champs-Elysées, Nice- 4, jardin public, Lille - 34, rue Faidherbe, London - 149, New Bond Street, modèle déposé". Includes original exterior key - Dimensions approx. 55 x 55 x 113 cm - Wear and water damage.

An early 19th century oak cased eight-day striking grandfather clock standing 200 cm high. The square hood has two reeded column side supports. The trunk with hinged door has two side pilasters. The square brass dial bearing an inner Roman five minute chapter ring and an outer Arabic five second interval chapter ring. The dial bears the inscription 'Jn. Day Wakefield'. The brass face has two secondary dials, the calendar movement and a second hand movement.

The glazed face has a mahogany Georgian-style frieze. The trunk with hinged door bears two matching Corinthian column supports with brass finials. The slightly convex enamelled dial has gilt ground, floral hand painted spandrels with a Roman chapter ring. The hand painted moon phase has a twenty-nine day arched Arabic dial
A late 18th century oak cased eight-day striking grandfather clock with mahogany banding standing 222cm high. The square hood has an open fret work frieze flanked by tapering Doric columns supports. The silvered chapter ring is on a brass plate with spandrels of the four seasons. The dial has a Roman and Arabic chapter and calendar aperture, and bears the name Thomas Bridge. The workings of the clock are of a later period. The finials are missing to the hood and there is a small mahogany cross banding missing to the base. The lower back board of the trunk has at some time been replaced (with receipt for £782 for overhaul dated 25th February 2014)
