A Chinese watercolour, Qing, 18th/19th century, painted with a recumbent Lu Dongbi watching over Guanyin who holds a blossoming sprig in a garden surrounding, with a gnarled blossoming tree a pine tree and a stream, a pavillion to the background with tea pot and bowls, 26 x 29cm; and a Japanese woodblock print, Taisho/Showa, 23.5 x 36cmCondition report: Chinese watercolour with paper worm trails/holes throughout, more noticeable to the corners and sides, centre rock and tree trunk. The image has been folded in half prior to being framed. Slightly discoloured the top left quarter.Woodblock print is in good condition.,

A DIAMOND AND GEM SET PANEL BROOCH BY CARTIER, modelled as a tree, with cabochon ruby and green agate flowerheads and foliage, accented with individual round brilliant-cut diamonds in millegrain collet settings, above a round brilliant, Swiss and single-cut diamond set trunk and vase of pierced, millegrain design, white precious metal mounted, with yellow metal pin, signed CARTIER and indistinctly numbered, total diamond weight approximately 0.55ct, length 2.65cm Condition report: Rubies have variable pinkish-red hues, most stones with fracture, feather, ‘silk’ and mineral inclusions that are visible under magnification. Some of the rubies have surface-reaching fractures and nicks/chips, all have light surface wear. The green agates are well matched with a cloudy/milky transparency and light surface wear. Diamonds are well matched, bright and lively, with estimated VS1 to SI2 clarity and H to J colour, assessed mounted. Largest diamond weight approx. 0.07ct. The mount has surface wear, scuffs, nicks and occasional areas of thinning to the edges of the setting. The pin is yellow metal, possibly later replaced, and functioning. The signature is positioned to the side of the vase, the number is positioned to the back of the vase but is difficult to read. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 7.9gm.

An Edwardian George III style marquetry inlaid chiming eight day longcase clock, the 10 inch arched brass dial with painted moonphase, subsidiary seconds and selectors for silent / chime, eight bells / four bells, unsigned movement chiming on eight bells and a gong, H.7ft 2in.CONDITION: Overall looks to be in good original untouched condition, case is of a mid reddish brown mahogany tone in a slightly matted state of polish, marquetry all looks good, other than very minor dents and scuffs the case appears in excellent condition, dial oxidised to the silvering, movement looks to be in good complete condition but not tested for timekeeping, comes with case key, mahogany shafted pendulum and three brass cased weights, inside of trunk door has a 1905 presentation plaque.
Joseph Windmills of London. A late 17th century marquetry and walnut cased eight day longcase clock, the 11 inch square brass dial with signed silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, movement striking on a bell, the case with later embellishment, H.6ft 9in.CONDITION: This clock looks to have seen extensive restoration particularly to the case within recent years, the case looks to be old but is almost not original to the movement and has been embellished with oyster veneer and parquetry panels, the three gilt ball finials all have rubbing to the gilding, otherwise the case is of an even slightly flatish mid walnut tone, right hand glass to the hood is cracked, trunk door has an old working lock and is slightly bowed inwards, sides of the trunk both slightly bow outwards, box base again with old repairs and replaced plinth, dial and movement look to be in very good clean condition, comes with a pendulum and two brass cased weights, comes for sale from a deceased estate.
English School c.1840oil on canvasNaive portrait of a pipe player seated in a pastoral landscape35. x 28in.CONDITION: Oil on canvas cleaned and relined within the past 10 - 20 years or so, canvas remains tight, paint in good clean condition with a fine but stable craquelure throughout most of the paint, some sign of old bitumous bubbling across the top, possibly some retouching throughout notably the bowl on the trunk of the tree and around the knee, red flowers and lower corner, housed in an old tatty 19th century frame, no labels verso.
A 17th century Russian leather travelling trunk, the domed top with brass studded decoration forming floral motifs, similarly decorated to the front with plain sides, W.3ft 10in. D.2ft 1in. H.1ft 11in.CONDITION: Studded areas showing signs of old wear and tear to the leather which has seen some degree of restoration over the years, the sides and back have been replaced with new leather, the lock is present but no key, interior lined with old book lining paper, now looking rather tatty with a pronounced split through the bottom, sides have what look to be the original wrought iron carrying handles, overall fair to good order.
A 19th century mahogany drop dial railway wall clock, c.1840, enamelled Roman dial signed Joyce, Whitchurch, height 20in.CONDITION: Case of good rich dark reddish tone, suffering from a number of dents, scuffs and scratches particularly to the trunk, dial is dirty and faded to a yellowish tone with spots showing in line with pillars, single fusee movement with rectangular plate looks to be in good clean working order, comes with a pendulum but not tested for timekeeping, reverse of the case has an oval LMS plaque numbered 10397, comes with a later winding key.
James Ely of London. A Regency mahogany longcase regulator, with 10 inch circular silvered dial, movement with anchor escapement and iron and brass pendulum H.6ft 7in.CONDITION: Case of a mid to light brown mahogany tone, slightly lighter around the dial and top of the trunk door and elsewhere, old splits running to the left of the bezel near the escutcheon, some fine cracks running down the right hand side of the trunk, a diagonal crack running upwards into the case from beside the top right corner of the trunk door, minor denting and scuffing throughout, two horizontal cracks running from the right side of the box base, dial scuffed and oxidised, hands look original, movement complete and thought to be going but not tested, comes with pendulum that has lost the cross T bar at the top of the ribbon but otherwise looks original, working trunk key, working key for bezel lock and a squared cast iron weight.
A George III mahogany eight day chiming longcase clock, the arched 12 inch brass dial with silvered eagle and tempus fugit plaque over Roman chapter ring and subsidiary seconds, H.7ft 9in.CONDITION: Case of very good rich dark reddish mahogany tone and looks honest and untouched for many years, minor cracks and small faults throughout, more notable faults include scratching and scuffing of the trunk door where it rubs at the bottom, right side with a rather matted finish and would benefit from repolishing, trunk door lock is a later replacement and no key present, the plinth is a later replacement, dial and movement look to be in very good clean condition with no faults noted, although quite probably the movement is somewhat later being associated to the case, comes with three cast iron weights and a brass pendulum, not tested for timekeeping.
Muzzell of Horsham. An early 19th century mahogany eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch arched painted dial with date aperture, H.7ft 5in.CONDITION: Overall in very good clean restored condition, mahogany of a rich highly polished reddish tone, hood door has wear around the key hole and comes with a key that struggles to operate the lock, movement looks to be in honest untouched condition, dial has seen some restoration with some retouching to the paintwork, trunk has a working key, a split through the main body of the case in the trunk just above the arch of the door, a few minor dents and knocks lower down and signs of repairs and re-veneering to the box base, but overall good condition, comes with a brass faced pendulum and two cast iron weights along with two winding keys.
