William IV mixed wood longcase clock, hood with bird finial, swan neck pediment, turned columns, trunk with short door, bracket feet, fourteen inch arched brass dial signed Henry Higginbotham, Macclesfield, rocking ship to the lunette, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, eight day movement striking on a bell, 240cm, with two weights, pendulum and winding key. Condition report:It appears to be working on quickly assembly in the saleroom although would benefit from being professionally installed. Some tarnishing and wear to the silvered chapter ring. The painted arch is good and the galleon moves with the seconds. Some old spot repairs to the case but generally well presented. A 19TH CENTURY LOUIS VUITTON TRUNK CIRCA 1885, Brown striped design with leather details and green painted cross. Labelled 'N.10', this is the last trunk from a set of ten trunks belonging to the vendors great- grandmother. 110cm x 57cm x 57cm Labelled to the interior, and stamped L.V. to the metal clasps, and to the brown leather strap remnants.
