THE BEATLES - YESTERDAY AND TODAY - 3RD STATE 'BUTCHER COVER' LP (MONO T-2553). An extremely neat 'peel' of this original US '3rd state' butcher cover Yesterday And Today. The pasted trunk cover has been removed with a great deal of success with the sleeve in overall VG condition. The peel has caused very little damage to the controversial image with no paper tears visible at all. There is a seam split along the spine where there is also noted shelfwear. The reverse (RIAA '3') is in clean order with a little discolouration. Housed with the remnants of the pasted trunk cover (this is in many pieces, perhaps you can piece it back together?!) The original US mono LP (T-2533, T1-2553-G2/T2-2553-F1) is in VG condition with some light surface and scuff markings though nothing heavier. With original Capitol company inner and reproduction Capitol press release.
