A collection of 19th century pottery and porcelain to include an early 19th century Spode 'New Shape Garden Pot' of two section, the upper section with stylised moulded and gilt dolphin lug handles, painted with two rural landscape patterns and bearing the painted Spode mark and pattern no.1926 to the underside (dated c.1806), on small pedestal base painted with landscapes and with gilt borders, height of the assembly 14cm, diameter of the top 14cm, an Adams blue and white transfer printed milk jug with rural garden scenes, with floral borders, high scroll handle with thumb kick, impressed to the base 'Adams Warranted Staffordshire', a 19th century pearlware figure of a woman holding baby with two infants, one a boy holding a Bible and cross, unmarked, possibly titled 'Charity', on a square base, height 19cm, an early 19th century Staffordshire figure depicting a lady with snake wrapped around her left arm and a water ewer in her right hand, on a square base, unmarked, height 23cm, possibly representing the goddess Hygieia, a Staffordshire figure of a water carrier, height 25cm (af), a 19th century Staffordshire figure depicting a travelling performer and two Copeland Spode 'Lyon' pattern plates (8). CONDITION REPORT The Spode 'New Shape Garden Pot', has some faint nibbles to the rims, some wear to the gilt, no obvious damage. The figure of Charity has nibbles to the base, some wear to the paint as expected, possible repair to the right hand. The goddess Hygieia has a tiny firing crack to the inside of the jug, paint loss, possible repair to the snake's head and hand. The water carrier possibly was a spill vase, the back of the tree trunk is missing, paint loss, nibbles to the base and edges,. The Adams jug is discoloured, has a firing/old crack to the inside that hasn't developed further, old crack to the base rim and chips to the base. Chips to the rim and spout. The travelling musician has some parts including hand and instrument possibly repaired, old firing cracks, paint loss, chips to the base. Plates have some paint loss, a little discolouration, but otherwise good.
A Georgian oak and mahogany long cased clock, by Parker of Louth, the break arch dial with fruit painted spandrels, bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, two train eight day movement with bell strike, the case with break arch pediment surmounted by three brass finials, the hood with brass caped fluted columns and demi pilasters, trunk door with quarter brass capped fluted pilasters, raised on bracket feet, with pendulum and key, 207cm high, 48cm wide, 24.5cm deep.
