CHINESE CLOISONNE ELEPHANT FORM INCENSE BURNER Chinese cloisonne enamel on gilded metal elephant form incense burner. Crafted to depict multicolor scrolled floral and chih lung dragons throughout. Elephant is standing with trunk curled under and tusks down. To it`s back is draping, removable saddle depicting a yellow dragon to each side with four talons. Inserted into saddle is figural double gourd hulu form vase with leaf handles. Has lotus blossom form base with fence surrounding the elephant. Measures 21 1/4" height x 13 1/2" length x 8" depth (53.9cm x 34.2cm x 20.3cm). Total weight of 5.68 kilograms.
ANTIQUE HAND CARVED IVORY ELEPHANT Buddhist symbol of mental strength, carved by hand in ivory, this white elephant represents strength and power, directing ones wishes and destroying all obstacles in the way. Hand sculpted, with upward trunk and full tusks, distinct incised ribs, skin and toes of feet, all indicative of the carvings of the 1800`s. Resting on teak stand. Measures: 2" height x 3 ¾" length + ¾" x 4" stand (5.5cm x 9.9cm + 2.4cm x 10.6cm). Total weight of 104 grams.

A GEORGE III OAK AND MAHOGANY THIRTY-HOUR LONG CASE CLOCK by George Porthouse of Penrith (probably George Porthouse II, 1743-1817), having a broken swan-neck pediment with brass finial, arched glazed hood door, turned columns, shaped trunk door and plain base with bracket feet, the arch of the dial painted with a floral bouquet over a chapter ring of Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing the maker`s name and crescent form date aperture, all framed by painted floral spandrels, sold with weight and pendulum. 226cm(h)Cracks and staining to dial with loses to lower right corner, re-glazed hood door, fading, marks and scratches, split to base panel and to right side.
