A FINE IRISH MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK BY CHANCELLOR, early 19th century, the arched hood surmounted with a pointed finial, enclosing a brass dial inked “Chancellor Fecit”, set with numerals on the quarter, with twin winding apertures, the trunk centred with a brass thermometer inscribed “Kendrick Yeates” of Dublin, on outset plinth base, with pendulum and weights. 189cm high
A Georgian oak 8-day longcase clock, signed J. Peberby, Leicester, with two-weight movement striking on a bell, the twelve-inch square brass dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, the oak case with walnut banding, long trunk door and reeded pilasters, square hood with brass-mounted columns, 81in (205.5cm) high.
A 17thC tent-stitch Embroidered Picture, depicting a courting couple among oak trees, flowers and insects being serenaded by two musicians: a female lute player and a male cornett player, below a Unicorn, a Hound and a Falcon, colours slightly faded commensurate with age, threads worn in Unicorn body, head of courting lady, cornett player's hat and shoes and central tree trunk, loose threads by falcon, 6in x 10½in (15cm x 27cm), within a modern frame.
