The plinth itself between the two clawed feet has had some serious damage, it is present however it is not properly attached and has pieces missing and broken. The door hinges appear to be original and function correctly, the door closes snugly. Likewise the hood. The glass to the front door appears to be original, the dial may have been refurbished at some point, however this is historic, it has a nice patination of age. The seconds subsidiary hand is present but the day of the month hand is missing. The main hands appear original the mechanism is present and appears complete but we cannot warrant originality. Weights are present, the pendulum is present and the winding crank is also present. The clock winds, runs and sets but should be considered untested. We strongly recommend that any prospective bidder studies all images closely prior to bidding.
