19th Century French comtoise longcase clock, the grained pine case enclosing an embossed brass and enamel dial with Roman numerals, inscribed Glatz Freres a Chateauroux, the two train movement with an ornate embossed brass covered pendulumDoes have old woodworm to bottom of case and what appears to be gnawing to corners of base, split to trunk below glass, needs restoring and movement repairing. No loose or missing parts. The clock is not currently working.

Sculpted, painted art vase by famed Connecticut artist Gail Markiewicz. Signed on underside.Modern, organic-styled, hand created vase. Slab and coil construction of a tear shape form laid on its side, creates a hollowed trunk like structure on a abstract scalloped edge base. Curling tendril delicate handle attached on side. Piece is incised and molded on body to create a network of small erratic shapes and designs to add to the bold amorphous nature. The artwork is painted, glazed and fired to create a unique one of a kind sculptural but utilitarian ceramic vessel. Vase exudes artist's signature eclectic, well known expressive color pallet in muted rose, varying degrees of green from teal to olive, earth tomes of brown, bone and gold.
