19th century British Army Officers Steamer Trunk, iron bound black painted wooden construction with handles to either end, marked ' O.H. OAKES ESQ 29th REGT.', records show a Lieutenant Colonel O.H. Oakes, Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment entitled to the Kings South Africa Medal with clasps 'South Africa 1901' and 'South Africa 1902', the Worcestershire Regiment was the old 29th Regiment of Foot, the chest appears to have been used as a flag locker at some stage, 92 cm x 46 cm x 46 cm
Second World War British army Full length single-breasted heavy-weight coat made of orange-brown canvas, lined with a waterproof material, with the chest and trunk insulated further with sheepskin fleece , interior label reads ' Coat, Sheepskin lined, Size 3, breast 37" to 42" (over jacket), Made by Wareings (N'TON) Ltd. 1943', issued to troops embarking for Norway in 1940 it proved to be impractical for normal duties and therefore tended to be worn by sentries and static gun crews

Two cancellation marks. Chip to the posy being held by the boy on the right, and a chip to his hat. The central boy has lost his right thumb, chips to leaves in his basket. The girl to the right is missing the shaft to her rake and 50% of the rake head is missing.
