An early 20th century leather and brass studded Louis Vuitton lady's cabin trunk, circa 1903, of rectangular shape with a hinged lid and fitted interior with lift out tray, inscribed with initials C.R.W. and numbered 126937, label inside and stamped to the locks, BtSGBT, patent, A Rue Scribe, Paris, Louis Vuitton, 149 New Bond Street, 90cm, accompanied by a letter from Louis Vuitton, Malletier A Paris, dating the production of this actual trunk sold on May 15th 1903. Provenance: purchased by the vendors grandmother in 1919 for a trip to Australia. A George III mahogany long case clock, John Hebert, London, brass leaf arch dial, with pierced cherub and mask spandrels, silvered chapter ring bearing Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and alarm dials, date aperture, eight day, two train movement, hour striking, the hood with Corinthian columns, plain trunk and plinth, 51 by 28 by 219cm high.
An early 19th century oak longcase clock, circa 1820, with a 12 inch square dial painted with Roman numerals and floral spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar crescent aperture, signed William Sully, Langport, with an eight day movement striking on a bell, the oak case cross banded with mahogany, hood having a swan neck pediment, and plain trunk door, 45 by 22 by 212cm high.

CONDITION REPORT: some marks, wear to case, otherwise good.
