An early 20th century leather and brass studded Louis Vuitton lady's cabin trunk, circa 1903, of rectangular shape with a hinged lid and fitted interior with lift out tray, inscribed with initials C.R.W. and numbered 126937, label inside and stamped to the locks, BtSGBT, patent, A Rue Scribe, Paris, Louis Vuitton, 149 New Bond Street, 90cm, accompanied by a letter from Louis Vuitton, Malletier A Paris, dating the production of this actual trunk sold on May 15th 1903. Provenance: purchased by the vendors grandmother in 1919 for a trip to Australia.
