A SMALL EARLY 20TH CENTURY CARVED OAK LONG CASE CLOCK having a moulded flat top and arched glazed hood door between turned columns, the slender arched trunk door nicely carved with scrolling fruiting vines, the sides near conforming, the panelled base with oak leaf and acorn carving, on squat cabriole type legs and pad feet, the arch of the brass dial with applied foliate decoration and central silvered disc inscribed `Tempus Fugit` over a silvered chapter ring of Roman hours, three winding holes enclosed by applied spandrels, the movement striking on gongs. 178cm(h) Short replacement pendulum^ otherwise generally good.
