A WW2 medal group to 363400 Flight Sargent W.F. Garton, comprising LGSC medal, 1939-45 Star, Defence and War medal, together with miniature group, ribbon bar and RAF buttons, photographs and ephemera including retirement confirmation letter from Air Ministry. Lot includes Garton's silver and alloy sporting medals, metal service trunk, two further wooden boxes, and two photograph albums.
An 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock with thirty hour movement by Richard Marshall. The 10¼ ins (26 cms) square brass dial with a single steel hand, engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals encircling a calendar aperture and round maker's plaque inscribed 'Rich Marshall 1752'. The case with flat hood surmounted by three turned ball finials, a break-arch topped trunk door and moulded base on bracket feet 83 ins (211 cms) high.
A Late 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock. The eight day movement having a 12 inch (30.5 cm) square brass dial signed Courtier Ruthin, with a seconds and calendar subsidiary dial to the centre encircled by a silvered chapter ring and embellished with scrolling gilt brass spandrels. The case having a flat topped hood with blind fret carved frieze and octagonal side columns. The trunk with a shaped lip-moulded door with mahogany cross-banding flanked by recessed quarter columns, 79¾ ins (203 cms) high.
A George III oak and mahogany thirty hour longcase clock, with broken swans neck pediment above a painted circular dial with Roman numerals, floral detailing and indistinctly signed Cecelia Fletcher Rotherham, above trunk with serpentine top door and fluted corner pilasters to the side, on later plinth base PLEASE NOTE: The proceeds of this lot are being gifted to several animal charities including Animals Asia, Blue Cross, Born Free, China Animal Protection, Compassion Without Borders, Fauna & Flora International, P.E.T.A, Rahat India, RSPCA Hampshire and Surrey Borders, SPANA, Humane Society International, Whale and Dolphin Conservation Sanctuary, Four Paws International and Retired Greyhound Trust
An early 19th century Shropshire oak thirty hour longcase clock, the painted square dial with Roman numerals and date aperture, indistinctly signed Francis Careswell the trunk flanked by fluted corner angles, on plinth base (some damage). A Continental porcelain table centre of imposing proportions, the circular bowl over stylized tree trunk column, surrounded by four dancing figures, the whole typically decorated with encrusted flowers and gilt finish, blue printed PMP mark to base. Condition Report: No apparent damage or restoration. Minor loss to encrusted flower decoration.

A black painted pine chest with iron hinges and handles on a plinth base, together with a military Morse Code box with signalling lamp, together with a military water flask CONDITION REPORTS Trunk has various scuffs and scrapes and a repair / dowelled area to the front to the right of the lock. There is some splitting to the joins. The morse code box - canvas cover is worn in several places, roughness, dents, flaking to tin work, not known whether complete nor whether working. Dirt. Glass on the lamp has various blemishes. The water bottle - stopper is not original, the felt cover has moth holes and may be a later replacement, stitching to the top is later.
An early 19th century nautical themed longcase clock by Jonathan Benham, Cullompton:, the arched painted dial signed as per title, Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with automaton ship movement to arch section of dial, the upper spandrels painted with churches the lower with ships, under a swan neck pediment hood with eagle and ball finial, cross grained door and chamfered inlaid trunk, 228cm high.
Quantity of hollowcast figures, includes: Britains Tree and Gate, with child on swing; two Britains tree trunks; Britains Garden Shelter; Britains Span Roof Green House; John Hill & Co Railway Series green bench with man and woman, and young girl seated on a trunk; quantity of assorted seated figures and benches. Conditions vary, some paint loss. (20)
