An oak and mahogany eight day longcase clock, swan neck pediment, mahogany crossbanded trunk door, 13-inch painted arched Roman numeral dial inscribed W.Wain Alfreton, seconds dial and date aperture, corners painted with pink roses and the arch depicting a lady holding a lyre, four pillar movement with attached Walker & Hughes falseplate, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, possibly a later case, 213cm high 03.09.18, Pediment with chips and cracks to the veneers, hood door with a small hole to the bottom edge, door with small cracks and chips to veneers, case sides and plinth with small cracks, trunk door escutcheon is damaged, later skirting/feet, dial is rubbed in parts and with scratches, painted dial surfaces have been re-touched in parts, possibly a later case, with pendulum and two weights.

A mid 18th century George II walnut longcase brass faced clock by Joseph Smith, Bristol, circa 1760. Rare automaton Perseus and Andromeda moonphase action over the brass face with secondary aperture window and faceted hands. Notation to the centre for maker with further notation to the top arch ' Perseus and Andromeda ' The Walnut trunk with simple reeded columns to the sides of the hood. Complete with the brass pendulum and weights. Measures 236cms x 49cms x 25cms depth
A 19th century mahogany longcase clock by George Lewton, Kingswood, Bristol. The painted face with secodary apertures, faceted hands under moonphase action. Set to a mahogany trunk with columns to either side of hood with brass eagle swan neck pediment having blind fret work decoration. Complete with key, weights and pendulum. Measures 234cms high x 48cms wide x 25cms depth
Seleukid Empire, Antiochos III 'the Great' Æ17. Military mint in Coele-Syria, circa 202-187 BC. Macedonian shield with gorgoneion in central boss / Elephant walking right; anchor above, monogram under belly, NE or ligate ME under trunk; ???????? ?N?????? in two lines in exergue; c/m: horse head right, within round incuse punch. SC - , cf. 1089.2; Roma E-14, 27 Dec. 2014, lot 226 (without c/m); cf. HGC 9, 490. 5.09g, 17mm, 10h. Very Fine. Apparently Unpublished. From a private German collection. Visible under the elephant's trunk on the reverse are the letters NE or ligate ME, which are seemingly perhaps an as yet unrecorded control mark also visible on one other known specimen (Roma E-Sale 14, 27 December 2014, lot 226).

19th Century Chinese gilt lacquered wood wall vase carved with branches on a faux tree trunk, 22cm. CONDITION REPORT: Gilding rubbed on raised areas of carving. There is a split/crack from the top edge on left facing side to the beetle on a flower. There is also a piece of wood missing.piece of carved fohage missing at the front base of vase, also a small chip to back top of vase, moulded edge and possibly small amount of foliage carving to the bracket.There is also a label stuck to the base of the vase (tatty) also a couple of splits in the wood.

The 30 hour clock by Richardson Easingwold, York, having an arched painted dial with Roman numerals and date aperture and spandrels decorated with floral spray (44 cms). The oak case with a molded scroll pediment and turned pillars to either side of the hood, an attractive shaped trunk door flanked by two inlaid columns, supported on bracket feet (af; the rear feet are missing), approx 55 x 28 x 220 cms. The clock complete with weights and pendulum.

A Regency mahogany longcase clock, the hood with fretwork cresting and brass ball finials, above a 12inch (30.5cm) circular painted dial signed William Webber, Powis Street, Woolwich, with subsidiary seconds and date dials to an 8 day 5 pillar movement, strike-silent lever above XII, the case with a break arch long trunk door, canted stop fluted corners with brass reeding, upon a panelled base with shaped skirting 216cm (84in) in need of some general attention. An Edwardian mahogany grandmother clock, in the Chippendale style, with swans neck pediment above the arched silvered brass dial flanked by reeded columns, the trunk with long door and with brickwork base raised on ogee moulded bracket feet, with three-train movement. Dial width 80 cm, case height 152 cm (see illustration).
Three trunks, one Victorian pine, one 19th century teak, one with brass bound corners. Widest 107 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The camphorwood trunk is structurally sound. It is however a little tired. The front left hand corner of the top has a stress fracture and the loose section is slightly lifting. There is a further similar break and stress fracture to the front right hand corner. The rear right hand corner has a stress fracture. The top is generally quite marked and scratched and is also painted with a name and address. The interior of the lid and the main body of the trunk are fairly clean. The hinges and all brasswork are present. The sides of the trunk have numerous stickers and there are also stress fractures, scratches and scuffs. The same can be said of the front and back. The trunk really requires a full clean and polish.
A Regency mahogany longcase clock by Bryson of Edinburgh, with two-train movement and subsidiary seconds and date dials, the case with quarter column corners and all raised on short turned feet. Height including finial 218 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock winds on both trains. It is currently ticking away and striking when advanced. We have both weights and pendulum. The case is basically in very good condition with only one minor issue. There is a small section of veneer missing to the top left hand corner of the base of the case and a section of applied moulding in the bottom right hand corner of the front base panel with the exception of this the case is really in first class condition with only very minor stress fractures and the odd mark. There is no warping to the trunk door.
