An 18th century German parquetry trunk of small dimensions beautifully inlaid and cross banded decoration with a range of different woods representing geometric shapes and stylised flowers and foliage, the lid lifting to reveal an interior with a hinged or lidded sub compartment to either side, with below a full width drawer and the whole raised on turned wood feet, 23 3/4'' wide (carrying handles fitted down) x 12 1/2'' deep x 14 1/4'' high approx, the old lock mechanism with key present.
