A 1920's early 20th century oak cased, brass faced longcase / Grandfather clock. The clock having an arch top hood, barley twist supports enclosing a brass clock face with cherub spandrels to the corner and Roman numerals to the chapter ring. Geometric panel base and trunk. Measures 168cm x 37cm x 21cm.
Gold-plated silver chalice, paten and spoon in original case with key. The chalice is gilded silver, 835/1000, year letter 1914, Waarborgkantoor Amsterdam. Made for Janssen en Co, Tilburg / Haarlem (1899-1922) for G van Kalcken Haarlem. The chalice stands on a round base with a slightly raised rim. Foot sloping up in the trunk. On the rim a pearl rim and a ribbon with Jesus Christ Heri Et Hodie Ipse Et Saecula in Gothic lettering. On the arch 3 round medallions, Ghent Altarpiece with a cross vane in a halo, Christ's head with a crown of thorns, fish with bronze basket on the back. Around this tendrils of roots that end in leaf tendrils at the top of the foot. Between the medallions Jugendstil floral motif, inlaid with opals and pear-shaped diamonds. Round nodule decorated with large floral motifs, rose branch, passion flower with crown and water lilies. Round trunk with 3 pearl edges. Counter cup decorated with large sunflowers. On the cuppa with Vivo Ego Jam Non Ego Vivit Vero In Me Christus in Gothic lettering. The paten is gold-plated silver, year letter 1913, Waarborgkantoor Utrecht. The spoon has a twisted handle with a heart in a triangle, no mark found.
