Parker RN), NGS 1915, 1 clasp Palestine 1936-39 (Cdr (E)), 1939-45 star, Atlantic star, Africa star with North Africa 1942-43 clasp, Burma star with Pacific clasp, Italy star, War medal with M.I.D. leaf, EIIR Coronation 1953. Mounted court style, VF and EF. Together with 2 albums which include photos of the German Fleet at Scapa Flow 1919, Salvaging the Baden and Emden, Salvaging Italian mail seaplane Adriatic 1926, Catapulting Fairey IIIF 710 (John Henry Wood) 1932 at sea, photos of M.T.E. Chatham and other photos of naval life, family etc, mostly from the 1930’s; a fine pencil portrait of recipient as Midshipman 1923 and an engraved nameplate R.W.Parker RN from a naval trunk or similar. Note: Rear Admiral R W Parker born 1902, attended Royal Naval College at Osborne and Dartmouth, Midshipman 1918, served in Grand Fleet, specialised in Engineering 1922-24, Engineer Officer HMS Rodney 1942-44, HMS Indomitable (Pacific Fleet) 1944-46; Command HMS Caledonia RN Rosyth 1949-52, Rear Admiral (E) 1952. On the Staff of C in C Plymouth; Deputy Engineer in Chief of the Fleet 1953-55, retired 1955.

A Mahogany Striking Drop Dial Wall Clock, Richd Richardson, Liverpool, early 19th century, octagonal top, side opening doors, fanned carved ears, figured trunk with opening door, 14-inch painted dial with Roman numerals, twin fusee movement with anchor escapement and striking on a gong attached to the backboard, 65cm high 08.05.13, Case with some small chips in places and scratch marks, side pegs have been replaced, dial has been totally re-painted but to a high standard, end of the minute hand has been restored, movement looks complete.

An Oak Eight Day Longcase Clock, T Mawkes, Belper, circa 1800, swan neck pediment, mahogany crossbanded trunk door, 13-inch painted arched dial, seconds and date aperture, arch with rolling moonphase, four pillar movement with attached falseplate stamped Byrne, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 219cm high 23.05.13, Case has been cleaned throughout and has lightened in parts, case with some chips to the edges in parts, hoor door with some later added veneer, plinth with the skirting replaced and the feet are missing, dial has been totally re-painted, some crazing cracks and slight re-touching to paint work, movement looks slightly dirty and needs cleaning.

A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, T Richardson, Weaverham, circa 1800, swan neck pediment, arched acorn trunk door, canted plinth with inlay, 14-inch painted dial, arch with rolling moonphase, four pillar movement with attached falseplate stamped Byrne, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 233cm high 23.05.13, Case with chips to edges, veneer and inlay lifting in parts, hood with a later added door knob, one of the glasses are loose to the top side of the hood, trunk door slightly bowed, dial is dirty and has faded, flaking to the dial surface in parts, movement is dirty and not sitting correctly in position in the case, movement needs cleaning, two extra vacant holes to the top side of the falseplate, movement needs cleaning.

A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, Penlington, Liverpool, circa 1790, swan neck pediment, figured trunk, inlaid crossbanded plinth raised upon bracket feet, 14-inch painted arched dial, inner date ring, arch with rolling moonphase, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 249cm high 30.05.13, Case has faded in parts and with water damage to the sides, case with some small cracks in parts and small chips to edges, mouldings have been replaced in parts, hood with later finials and the front glasses with cracks, trunk door with signed of damage next to both hinges, dial has been totally re-painted, movement needs cleaning.

A Mahogany Small Longcase Clock, early 20th century, swan neck pediment, figured trunk door, brick work decorated sides to the plinth, 7-inch arched brass dial with a Roman and Arabic chapter ring, arch with plaque inscribed Tempus Fugit, twin weight driven movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 150cm high 22.05.13, Case has faded due to sunlight damage and needs re-polishing, case with some chips to the edges, two finials missing on top of the hood, three screws missing to hold the seatboard down into position, dial is dirty and needs cleaning, movement looks slightly dirty and needs cleaning.

An Oak Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Thos Radford, Leeds, circa 1770, broken arched pediment, mahogany crossbanded trunk door, 12-inch arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed, dial centre with seconds and date aperture, arch with rolling moonphase, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a gong, 232cm high 22.05.13, Case with chips to edges and scratches, hood with a later added finial, gilding to the column capitals have faded and with some damage, hood door with later applied knob, trunk door very slightly bowed, lock is later, left hand side of the lock with a new piece of wood added, a piece of wood has been added above the plinth, front panel of the plinth with a crack and is lifting, some veneer is lacking, skirting is later added and the feet are missing, structure of the base and the bottom of the trunk is weak, case backboard with cracks, dial is dirty and has faded, dial also with scratches, later seatboard, inside both cheeks with new pieces of wood added to support the side cheeks, movement needs cleaning, now converted from striking on a bell to a gong, third wheel pivot is broken.

An Oak Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Emml Hopperton, Leeds, 1750, arched top pediment, crossbanded trunk door, 13-3/4-inch arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed, date aperture and seconds, arch with silvered disc inscribed Tempus Irrevocabile Fugit and dated 1750, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, later seatboard, 232cm high 31.05.13, Case with a later applied wavy shaped top to the pediment, front hood door has come loose and the glass is broken and needs replacing, columns to the hood with chips, finials are later and one is missing, trunk door is slightly bowed and some crossbanding is lifting, plinth with splits and some of the joints are coming apart, damage to feet, dial needs cleaning and re-silvering, later hands, date disc looks later added, movement needs cleaning, seatboard is later.

A Walnut Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed John Barry, Manchester, circa 1740, arched top pediment, crossbanded trunk door, 12-inch arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with seconds, date aperture and ringed winding holes, arch with silvered plaque inscribed Sic Transit Gloria Mundi, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, 246cm high Case has been polished throughout, case with small chips in parts to the edges, hood with some new pieces of wood added, plinth appears to have later feet added, dial with a silvered chapter ring slightly discoloured, movement looks complete and clean.

A Walnut Eight Day Longcase Clock, flat top pediment, veneered trunk door with moulded borders, 12-inch square brass dial with a silvered chapter ring signed Wm Underwood Westminster, seconds and date aperture, four pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, dial and movement circa 1720, case later, 213cm high 23.05.13, Case has been polished throughout to the surfaces, new mouldings and strips of wood have been added in parts, hood with the fret work replaced, new side glazed windows, wooden dial surround with chips and damage, some cracks and dents to the trunk in parts, trunk door with the veneers discoloured and the door is bowed, some cracking to the base and the skirting looks later, side cheeks with extra packing of wood to both sides beneath the seatboard, dial has discoloured, movement needs cleaning. Dial and movement circa 1720, case later.
