A 19th century oak and mahogany oak and mahogany veneered long case clock by Thomas Yeates (I), Penrith (1791-1865), with flat-topped hood, square glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with shaped and crossbanded door, the crossbanded base with bracket feet, the painted dial with Roman hours framing the maker's name and bird decoration, all within foliate spandrels, the movement striking on a bell, sold with weight and part pendulum 200cm Some paint cracking to dial, case appears restored with some minor repairs and losses to moulding and veneer.
A 1930's three train oak long cased clock, having a moulded arched hood with glazed door enclosing the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours, all enclosed by spandrels and surmounted by a brass disc 'Tempus Fugit' all within chamfered columns, the long trunk door with bevelled glass panel, on a plain panelled base, complete with three brass weights and pendulum 183cm in good condition.
A Lancashire mahogany longcase clock, late 18th century, the arched painted dial signed William Lawson, Newton, the chapter ring with Roman numerals and the dial with subsidiary seconds dial, the spandrels painted with four courting couples emblematic of the seasons, under a sun and moon arch, within a conforming hood with swan-neck pediment and gilt-brass mounted columns, the broad trunk with a band of blind fretwork over a shaped fielded panel door flanked by fluted quarter columns, on a fielded panel base, eight day movement. Height 225cm
An unusual 19th century Masonic mahogany cased longcase clock, the polychrome and gilt painted arched dial profusely decorated with Masonic symbols including Square and Compass, Solomon's Temple, the Blazing Star etc, enclosing a chapter ring with Roman numerals and two subsidiary dials, within a conforming hood with arched pediment over a glass door (glass cracked), the trunk with a shaped door between a pair of relief carved spindles, raised on bracket feet, eight day movement, with weights and pendulum. Height 217cm
A group of late 19th century vaseline and coloured decorative glass comprising: a vaseline tulip-shaped vase with leaf-form foot; a vaseline small bowl, with scalloped rim; a vaseline bud-form epergne vase element; a shaded blue to clear trunk-form bud vase; a white to clear baluster vase with crimped rim and green trailed decoration; and a bag-form "crackled" vase with green trailed decoration. A George III mahogany 8-day Longcase Clock, W'm Nicholas, Birmingham, with two-train movement striking on a bell, the arched painted 'Empire' dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary date and seconds, a military scene to the arch, the case with marquetry inlay, swan-neck hood with brass-capped Corinthian columns, corresponding trunk, plinth base and bracket feet, 91in (231cm) high x 21½in (54.5cm) wide.
